DX - Digital Transformation

Transitioning legacy operations to advanced digital, bridging between traditional jurisdictional and ajurisdictional decentralised autonomous organisational frameworks, while supporting essential regulatory objectives

01

Alliance iii.o PROTOCOL (core digital governance) provides a digital framework supporting three primary Primitives, HUMAN, ORGANISATION, and INTELLIGENCE.
This Protocol is applied through PLATFORMS, COMMUNITIES and INVESTMENTS.
Legacy, physical and jurisdictional concepts are referred as operating in HOMEWORLD while decentralised, autonomous, ajurisdictional and digital components may be described as operating in DIGITALUNIVERSE.

02

Activities are organised within and between ECOSYSTEM(s), associated within INITIATIVE(s).
ECOSYSTEM infrastructure may include PROTOCOLs, COMPONENTs, TECHNOLOGIES, COMMUNITIES, as well as HUMAN and ORGANiSATION relationships supporting interactions within HOMEWORLD and/or DIGITALUNIVERSE.
INTELLIGENCEs represent machine learning, rules-based technologies, and advanced digital intelligences (AI"), also operating within HOMEWORLD and/or DIGITALUNIVERSE.

03

Under global HOMEWORLD treaties, each HUMAN is recognised as a CREATOR of intellectual property and other intangible proerty. These concepts are extended to DIGITALUNIVERSE by PROTOCOLs.
Alliance iii.o and APP Protocols represent intellectual property and intangible assets created by pioneering computer technologists whose efforts commenced circa 1958 and continue through today.
APP represents a convergence of legacy HOMEWORLD and advanced DIGITAL UNIVERSE operational infrastructure.

Foundations

Alasdair G. ("Sandy") Barclay, an early pioneer in computing and Fellow of British Computer Society, participated in creation of  COBOL computer language in the late 1950s. In 2001, he formed a series of non-profit foundations, benefiting children and youth.

The unique structure of these Foundations (collectively, "Lighthouse Philanthropies") is to promote development of advanced computing technologies enhancing quality of life in local Communities.

The Foundations facilitate capital funding of core infrastructure for specialised legal entities and digital infrastructure utilities for global transacting. Foundations may own "infrastructure utility" COMPONENTs, available to Ecosystem participants.

The lighthouse logo of Barclay Foundation pays homage to Sandy's family's long association with Bermuda and his grandfather's participation in construction of  Gibbs Hill Lighthouse - Bermuda.

Inititiative

An Initiative represents a segmented scope of activity, interaction and dedicated Components and Connections within a digital framework representing one or more Ecosystems operating under an Initiative Protocol which governs activities associated with such Initiative and defines its Ecosystem(s) operations, Components, Connections, DAOs, etc., as well as Sponsors and Society members associated with the Inititiative.

An Ecosystem represents a collection of Components which establish an operational infrastructure configured for various associated purposes.

An ISO ("International Sponsor Organisation") is designed to benefit from asset protection and liability matching through statutory portfolio segregation in applicable jurisdictions. The jurisdictional legal entity in Bermuda is generally an Incorporated Segregated Account Company ("ISAC"), in the Cayman Islands a Foundation Company holding exempt company shares in a Segregated Portfolio Company ("SPC") and in the United States, a Wyoming Series Limited Liability Company ("Series LLC").
A DAO ("Decentralised Autonomous Organisation") may be comprised solely of HUMANs, Organisations, and/or Digital Intellegences and may be configured in a jurisdictional or ajurisdiction construct. Similarly, a DAO may be comprised of digital equipment, networks, and/or digital nodes which may operate totally within DIGITALUNIVERSE, HOMEWORLD or both worlds.
ISO

An Ecosystem may be mapped to a jurisdictionally connected International Sponsor Organisation ("ISO") or a digital ISO ("dISO"), either administered by a Digital Twin. This organisational component provides Ecosystem administrative functionality.

DAOs - Digital Networks

Decentralised Autonomous Organisations provide a range of relationship connectivity and collaboration infrastructure, digitally connecting Ecosystem participants, information, and transactional functionality.

Initiative | Ecosystem ISO

An Initiative | Ecosystem includes access to an International Sponsor Organisation (an "ISO")  to establish a HOMEWORLD legal entity to facilitate an Ecosystem's geographic and jurisdictional activities, if applicable.

A primary role of an ISO is to facilitate a "Sponsor" role of various infrastructure Components which enable functionalities within an Ecosystem, consistent with principles of Alliance iii.o Protocol.

An additional role of an ISO is to provide administrative services related to an Ecosystem's "Society".

Five non-profit charitable | educational foundations ("Foundation Members") sponsor formation of an Ecosystem's ISO in a manner which provides a statutorily protected portfolio infrastructure to facilitate an array of organisational and administrative capabilities. The primary foundations were established in 2001 by Alasdair G. "Sandy" Barclay, an early pioneer in computing, having participated in development of the COBOL computing language.

A key role of an Ecosystem ISO is in fostering global awareness of the primary mission of an Ecosystem, through a PROTOCOL established as a framework for HUMAN, ORGANISATION and INTELLIGENCE interaction in facilitating the mission of the Ecosystem.

Embracing DX-Digital Transformation, an Ecosystem is designed with a significant focus on digital systems and operations. An Ecosystem's Society represents the HUMAN component of the Ecosystem in a digital world.

Once formed, an Ecosystem's ISO is to establish various Segregated Portfolio Unit facilities to support the Ecosystem's HOMEWORLD interactions. These "protected portfolios" include a framework for the Ecosystem's Society and its members.

Through this facility, an ISO is to participate in various benefits enabling it to fund costs associated with establishing HOMEWORLD Components of an Ecosystem, efforts of its Society as well as administering support and direction for funding the work of its Foundation Members.

Ecosystem DAOs

Legal Entities and Components operate within Ecosystem IOT DAO. Participants operate within Ecosystem Participant DAO. Ecosystem Society members operate with Ecosystem Member DAO. Each of these participants' nodes are connected to Ecosystem DAO Connect to facilitate digital monetary units ("dmu") and other transactional activity.

An Ecosystem Society Member is connected in their HUMAN capacity to Ecosystem Society as it operates on HUMAN only DAO. Other interactivity within Ecosystem of such individual may operate across other DAOs.

 Sponsor

A Sponsor Group may be recognised to form an INITiATIVE and/or an ECOSYSTEM.

Initially, a PROTOCOL is created and an ISO is formed to administer an INITIATIVE, ECOSYSTEM or collection of Ecosystems.

Next, various Components are "sponsored" to form the core operational and technologies elements of an ECOSYSTEM(s).

These elements involve a series of technology licenses, digital equipment and legal entity formations.

International Framework
An ECOSYSTEM's core international framework may be comprised of proprietary technologies and Protocols developed by Sponsor(s), infrastructure Components, proprietary technology use licenses, configurable infrastructure legal entities' portfolios, and other infrastructure elements.

In addition to core international DIU, DAO, DAOn and DUO frameworks, country and/or region specific infrastructure may be included.

The nature and future activities of an ECOSYSTEM, as well as its implementation strategy and roll-up, may increase or decrease projected infrastructure requirements.

Sponsor Participants - Initial formation costs may be funded through FLEXNote™, collateralised by underlying infrastructure, interests in digital assets, allocation of controllable electronic records and other forms of collateral security.

Sponsor Participants may participate in FLEXNote™ funding initial infrastructure funding. These FLEXNote™ participations may be subsequently funded from Initiative Infrastructure FlexGIA™ Reference Series proceeds .

Initiative | Ecosystem Society

An Initiative | Ecosystem Society is designed as a group of HUMAN participants who promote expansion of an INITIATIVE and/or ECOSYSTEM(s), advise on direction, seek to protect persistence, nurture innovation, educate as to primary purpose of improving Core Focus for members of INITIATIVE and/or applicable ECOSYSTEM(s) and humankind, in essence undertaking the role of "godparents", operating within a digital ecosystem.

Ecosystem and Society operate under principles established under Alliance iii.o and Web 3.0, two internet-based digital protocols.

Alliance iii.o principles include the concept of uniquely identified parties as a fundamental feature. Thus, a person can be mapped to any ECOSYSTEM adopting Alliance iii.o principles with their unique public and private IDs, Quantum Security Keys and unique IP addresses.

Fundamental PRIMITIVES of Alliance iii.o include HUMAN, ORGANISATION and INTELLIGENCE. A natural person (a "HUMAN") generally has a "natural" legal person recognised by a country. A HUMAN operating in various countries may have more than one natural legal person. A HUMAN doing business as a "DBA", sole proprietership or limited liability company has one or more "legal persons". A sole owner of a "corporation" may be viewed to have a non-natural, i.e. juridical "legal person". Two natural legal persons may often be referred to as a "partnership".  Alliance iii.o refers to these various legal person groupings as an "Organisation". Under Alliance iii.o this geographic, country-specific historic paradigm is referred to as "HOMEWORLD".

In the evolving digital world which may operate on Planet Earth as well as beyond, without connection to geographic borders in some instances, within networks of connected energy fields at "nano" scale, the emergence of artificial intelligence technologies have opened the concept of another form of "person", just as the courts of England centuries ago defined a "legal person" for doing business thereby limiting liability. Alliance iii.o refers to any such future form or concept as an "Intelligence". The operational environment is referred to as "DIGITALUNIVERSE".

Alliance iii.o principles are designed to enable ECOSYSTEM infrastructure to support a "natural person", i.e. HUMAN, an archetype to uniquely identify as a HUMAN, an ORGANISATION and an INTELLIGENCE, operating in HOMEWORLD as well as in DIGITALUNIVERSE.

From these core concepts, any form of Organisation may be defined, as well as any Intelligence.

Digital Infrastructure

Alliance iii.o architecture includes four primary types of operational Component organisations.

Digital Infrastructure Utilities or "DIU" have specific purposes and operate within "known" constraints based on their applicable Protocols, consistent with Protocols and other applicable governance of the Ecosystem within which they operate.

A Decentralised Autonomous Organisation or "DAO" represents an organisation of digital nodes which may operate autonomously without a single point of control. This framework may be used to achieve a wide range of bespoke objectives.

DAOn is a form of Digital Assets Organisation, designed to store and administer both legacy and digital assets and instrument types, including myriad risk mitigation and transfer efficiency objectives.

DUO represents an approach to unitising digital assets in an organisational framework. Digital Units may include Controllable Electronic Records, recently admitted into legislation by a number of US States.

The illustration above demonstrates a Digital Units Organisation, which maps to a DIU - Digital Infrastructure Utility comprising a registry of intellectual property linked to Digital Units.

These components are modular and generally use protected portfolio technologies and digital assets.

FlexTec™

FlexTec™ comprises a suite of advanced financial contract technologies designed to mitigate a variety of institutional risks, including market, credit, operations, systemic, and re-hypothecation exposures.

ALLIANCE III.O

The Alliance iii.o "edge" network infrastructure provides an advanced digital IT (information technologies) framework for Ecosystems, Components, DAO participants, and transaction activities.
